Pavtek Shortblock kits

Has anyone got experience with one of these? What does it consist of? Are they worth the $1600?

Thanks
Ben

Re: Pavtek Shortblock kits

Depends what are you getting for that $1600? A 351 or 378? It sounds like a very basic kit that inc new pistons. A kit with a good set of pistons (not cast) inc machining would cost @ least $2000.

Re: Pavtek Shortblock kits

My short block kit is ready to be picked up from PAVTEC. I just have to get myself down to Melbourne. All up it has come up at just under $3000. It is basically the Gold kit with a few modifications.

The $1600 kit does not include a torque plate hone and has cast rings.
