Hey clevo nuts...
I am looking at ordering some alloy rockers covers. Some ford motor sport ones. Are these the same from all shops or do some no have PCV baffle etc?....
Also what height am i looking for, I have 1.73 bolt-on RR's under XE bonnet.
Do they come in diff heights for the clevo's?...
how much can i expect to pay? who has these cheap?

Hey pracy
I have a set fitted to mine was actually the first thing i bought for my engine cause id wanted a set from the moment i first saw them, best looking rocker covers u can get, from memory they cost me 260-280 for the pair they only come in a few sizes for clevo, windsor, and big block heads dont think the height of the rocker matters cause im running 1.73 on mine as well. they all come with the baffle which along with the holes u have to do urself.
Almost fell off my chair when I looked them up on VPW's website! $499! Pracy the covers are 4" tall.

we are talking bout the ford motorsport/racing rocker covers i was in Superoo falcon spares the other day theyve got them hangin on the wall with a price tag of $319 a set here check out www.superoo.com.au under the ford racing products i new they couldnt be that much i know i got mine 3 yrs ago for under $300 anyway goodluck
Also try ford dealers thats where I got mine and at a real good price .Less than $300
but I think they were the old style that need the 2 long bolts per side

Is there a new style that doesnt need the long bolts? I got mine this time last year and imported the ARP 12 point SS 4.5" bolts to go with them. I was told not to buy the polished ones because they, er, need polishing too much! The chrome ones are better as you just need to wipe them over before a show. I think they were $200 US a set plus everything, they have the holes and fittings included. Mugs didnt tell me this but instead sold me an extra set of fittings.
The Ford Racing (not Ford Motorsport anymore) polished alloy covers go for $119 in the US.
From Summit Racing of Jegs, who will charge about US$45 for postage, you could get them landed here for about AU$220. But as mentioned, if you're paying much more than $300 here, you're getting ripped.
I blew a heater outlet cap last week and dumped several litres of coolant all over mine. Bugger, it's going to take some serious elbow grease to polish them back up.
