i am after advice on prices for a camshaft for a cleavland
i have been quoted $167 for a stage 3 cam its brand is Precission Racing has anyone heard of this brand, if so please let me know what they are like.
also i believe i can put 351 crank and rods into a 302 block can someone confirm this for me please

yes, you can put a 351 crank and rods into a cleveland block.

Never heard of precision racing.

i just phone a company in Victoria and he gave a good deal on a heatseeker stage 3 cam, lifters, valve srings and a rollmaster timing chain totaling $436 he is selling me the lifters at almost $70 cheaper than the local spare parts shop...does anyone know what is a good amout to shave off heads to suit this cam and how much

A little as possible off the heads. As it weakens the water jacket area in the heads. Going too far means you hit the water jackets or weaken them.

whould it be better to port the heads instead of shaving them? what is the cost on porting heads? i have a set 2v closed chamber and a set of 2v open chamber heads too if anyone is intersted in them let me know, i an useing the heads that are on the car now so i dont need them

old falcon fan, what sort of revs do you want out of your cleveland?? do you want to run a hydraulic or mechanical cam?? 2v relieved 302 heads work very well. Crane make some very good cams for clevelands. I assume precison racing cams come from precision parts. It comes down to $$$$$

i am trying to make a strong engine for street use. i use my revs alot so i want it rev hard and fast
