Question about ProComp roller rockers - Ford Forums - Mustang Forum, Ford Trucks, Ford Focus and Ford Cars

Anyone familiar with ProComp rockers? They are selling on eBay cheaper than I can buy Harland Sharp from Summit. They are advertised as originating in Australia. Good parts? Or skip? Thanks for your opinion.

http://www.procompelectronics.com/ <--thats their AU website but they do have US distributors. I've been running one of their ignition control boxes to see what their like. It's a hell of a lot better than a stock electronic ignition.

I'd think their RR's would be a quality product for the $.

Don't know about the roller rockers, but if it's anything like their ignition gear they will be total crap.I have tried their dizzy & ignition box setup plus their ready to run dizzy & was let down badly by the perfomance.Changed to a MSD ready to run dizzy & have not looked back.

ive got a procomp billet electronic dizzy in my shed and standard points dizzys in both my cars so if there other parts are similar qualitiy i would use standard parts!

Ive not seen them advertised localy either

Dont bother .. spend the extra couple a hundred and buy the good stuff.. you wont regret it .. pro comp is shit quality. like comparing an excel to a mercedes

Thanks everyone! You don't get something for nothing, and considering the expense and effort to get stuff from there to here - $150 for rockers just seemed too good and too cheap. I'll go with the Harland as originally planned.

Especially when a few thousand dollar motor is at stake, makes the extra few hundred look not so bad as insurance.

i went to buy a procomp dissy and box from perfor world shop in parra and the guy gave me a tow truck number along with the quote... I got the point and brought MSD.

Are these the distributors from a few years back that spewed oil into them from the bottomend? Cool name, maybe not so cool quality!!

You cant beat the MSD as far as easiness of advance adjustments, as the advance mechanism is on top - you dont need to strip 1/2 the dizzy to change springs.
