Just wondeing when getting the heads port & polished do the heads have to be stripped bare?

Also does anyone know someone in Melbourne that can polish and port the heads for a good price?

Yes. As otherwise the valves get in the way. Without valves the springs/collets/retainers fall out.

Wog engineering in Wayne Court Dandenong to a good job. It just depends on what you call cheap. Port work varies from $300-$1200+ depend on what you want from the heads.
