4vxc Registered User Join Date: Jun 2004 Posts: 397	reinstalling restrictor plate I have purchased a correct Cleveland type thermostat Dayco pt no DT66A which is a Robert Shaw product. I found a brass restrictor plate at home for it but I am not sure how to fit it to the block, does it have to be pressed in.
