Serpentine belt
How do I release the tension on the serpentine belt on a '98 5.0 L? Need to change the alternator.

Re: Serpentine belt?

there is a spring loaded tensioner on the drivers side with a 1/4in ratchet drive in it just slot a ratchet into that and unload the belt no probs!
