Hey all, Just wondering some thoughts on clevo era, under bonnent colours...
Which black will look best, First thing is painting the starter motor etc...

WTF is this thread all about? Under bonnet choices? Black being the only answer? Screw that. The under bonnet should be the same colour as the body. Anything else is half-assed and wannabe. Painting the backside of the bonnet black isn't a sin, but it is definitely inferior to painting to match the body. Black is definitely NOT the answer unless the body is black or the owner is trying to get away on the cheap. Nothing wrong with that, just not as professional as a colour matched scheme.

...and who is the ignorant a$$ who spells it "coulour?" :)

I didnt hear anyone mention painting the "underside" of the bonnet. Why don't you read the post properly before getting all exited. The way us normal people read it is was what colour to paint under the bonnet. I'll explain it for davis. pracy is talking about items underneath the bonnet that are probably allready black and need repainting like the STARTERMOTOR. Have you had your daily fix now.

I mentioned the starter motor, not removing the bonnet or anything! :)
the only thing u are proud of is your long stories, no one likes to read, so one typo with COLOUR is not bad, considering i spelt it correctly later on in the same msg. good one

Sorry mate...you got me on that one! ...too many beers on a Friday night and then trying to post...should be a sticker on the computer, do not operate under the influence!

However, since I have nothing useful to say, I probably ought to quit posting here and wasting everyone's time. I guess that I'll probably just post a few photos and dyno details of the engine I'm completing when its done and then bow out and let everyone else go at it.
