Well a few little problems have been sorted out, the main thing was a change to a resistor type spark plug, the car is now making power to 7200rpm, the tounges combined with the new spark plugs created an extra 2 inches of vacum, the 850dp was getting sucked into the mainifold, a 930 proved too small as did the 1050dp, we will be changing the inserts on the 1050 to make it 1080, hopefully that's big enough, Hallam Performance asked me come in this afternoon and test drive it in a semi tuned state, they said the tractive effort "N" figure has reached 7200, so i went for a couple of laps round the block to warm the old girl up, then i stood on it at 3000rpm in 1st, took it 7200 changed to 2nd, took it to 7200 then 3rd 7200, when i hit fourth BANG, there goes my new inputshaft, snapped in two !, so on the bright side it's feeling very strong, but now i have to find an aftermarket input shaft as this new standard one didn't last one day :(

I have enough trouble with a 351 let alone a blown coupe lol.
But who needs forced induction when you're car lights up the tyres in top gear while strapped to a dyno :)

Man you've had your fair share of heartache. You know good things are going to come to those who wait. I recon both wheels, 2 foot up...
Ever thought of a C4 with 5000 stall. I can just imagine it now.
Keep it up Nick.

Funny you mention that, the words C4 and conversion slipped out while at the shop today, but what can i do, i like the manual shifting.
