Yes. It's different on each car. You must have low vacuum for it to be that noticable though. I have to go to town on the brake pedal before mine will raise the idle.
Get someone to put their foot on the brakes while you check and see if the booster is leaking vacuum. Idle will change if you continually pump the brakes but should drop back to normal if you just put your foot on them. I have had a remote booster diaphragm tear and only leak when it was activated. ie stretched by the piston depressing.
