A couple of years ago I did an engine build for Hot Rod magazine trying to build a 500 horsepower engine for less than five grand using a 400 Ford block and crank. We wound up about 400 bucks over the limit but the engine build was a lot of fun.
Recently, a ran across a video of the dyno session from that build that's never been seen before. I thought this engine sounded great and figured I'd share. The 565 lb/ft or torque really shows up when the operator pulls back on the throttle and both engine and stand drop back down!
