I usually run HPR50 but have valvoline 20/50W in it at the moment. I'm switching back to HPR50 soon as I've got an oil consumption issue that it had bugger all of with the HPR50.

when i used the valvoline a few years back oil consumption was a problem to and i could smell it in the engine bay burning, changed back to shell helix 20w 50 no issues

Mines coming out the tailpipes via the rings Well that's what I think. It's also being slightly sucked up by the pcv due to being thin and running like water. Odd thing is there is still visable hone marks in the bores.

i think it just breaks down, i know people swear buy it but i would not use it again in a modded engine, i wouldnt use it in anything really. ive heard this same thing from others as well.i just cant say enough for the shell product.and have used the penrite hpr50 alot as well with no probs
