what are srp and probe pistons like
does anyone know where they are forged and machined
im building a stroker with a 6-71 set up that will be going to about 7 grand rpm doing the odd burnout comp
also ive heard of a few breakages of scat i beam , what are the h beam like
or should i stick with the likes of je , ross , carillo

I think srp are made by je. The new i beam rods are meant to be good they have a big rod bolt in them. I reckon i will go for arias.

i had a look at a scat 4340 crank , the srp /je ( yep your right ), and the scat h beams with scat/arp bolts
the rods were much like carillos , small end were bronze/alloyed bushed
[piston oil ring grooves had holes that went onto gudgeon to supply oil to them
the kit looked allright i tell you , it cost the bloke 3g
, dont know what else hes doin with the engine
ill let you know in a few days what the balancing went like
svo make a timing set to suit i found out also
ive got a few prices on other brand stuff also
ill put nit on here when i got time
