What's the best intake manifold - Ford Forums - Mustang Forum, Ford Trucks, Ford Focus and Ford Cars

Hi all, I was just wondering what is the best intake manifold for my 302C. It has a mild cam and a four barrell Holley 500. Im leaning towards an Edelbrock Performer. The car is intended for daily use, but I'm looking for a few more responsive horses.
Whadda-ya-reckon?

You'll probably find a stock 4 barrell manifold will be just as good as a edelbrock preformer (on your setup) ..I did not believe this until I saw the same car on a dyno with both manifolds used.....beleive it or not !!

I doubt any other manifold would help either ?

Yep, mild 302, I'd just save my $. Stock one AOK.

stock manifold will do the job but if u can find a second hand performer i'd put it on simply because of the difficulty of fitting the stock 1 it's too bloody heavy!!
