Ring BP in kewdale, they will deliver free of charge a 200L drum to a business address. They won't do it for a residential address though - you will need to pick it up yourself. They are on the end of Abernethy road.
Also despite what the uninformed may think, adding 10-20% toluene to your fuel is a win:win situation. At that % there are no issues for the motor and by optimising your timing to run on the new higher threshold of detonation you will get quite a bit more power in most cases. Also it's cheap.
I've been doing it for the last 15 years. Until I started to run BP100, I added 10L per 80L tank of BP98 and it that made a great blend.
Hi STROKEXD,
Yes you are right about the comment..
But I did also read the Senate enquiry into toluene in fuel you will find that most petrol companies have ceased with this practice. Toluene was cheap never had a tax so they substitute it to make more profit now it carry's a tax same as petrol..It was also found to be harsher on your engine parts than petrol...some said 10% was ok...
If your happy its your car, you said it gives you good results..
qwikcorty Can't remember exactly, I had heaps of cash at the time so I barely glanced at the invoice. I think it must have been in the $200-$250 range I think.
