Anyone know of a good place to get an exchange auto transmission from for a 1976 LTD (351 Cleveland)? Mine's decided that it doesn't want to go anywhere anymore... nothing but neutral. Thanks!
A mechanic mate of mine bought a reconned C4 from repco the other day with convertor and all and it was quite cheap. Can't remember exactly, but was like $500 or so. I thought it was a good deal.
Good luck in trying to find a company that rebuilds FMX's. You may want to move towards the C4. Much easier to find parts for, much lighter, cheaper and a far better box.
i believe aussie automatics in airportwest will do a change over on any trans(c4 c6 c10 fmx)
he will also beef them up for you too on the change over.

C4''s are around $650 exch and the FMX are $750 exch. We also do stall convertors as well.
