Now what have all you CHI guys have to say about this. You still reckon AFD are sht. riest: Hey brenx i seen in one of your forum postd that you was going to go to the 218 heads. I think you better take a look at these old mate. I bet you would want a set of these beautys on that big green turd. Only joking. AFD ROCKS. Just giving DAVE a bit of a plug. FULLY SICK.
well isuppose someone has to plug them and from what i have seen they are good heads , with all the publicity the chi heads have received in australia and in america you would think these are the only heads to pick . but for me i think the afd is the better head of them with a new design to be released later .
Its all about advertising it just helps if you can back up .
The more people that know about a product the more sales you will get but to keep the sales you have to have the goods
I think afd would be better than chi only at the extreme side of drag racing but chi would be better on a street level .I prefer chi product as my car is at best going to be high 10 sec street car if all goes well .
Plus as I said early advertising works and I believe they had a bigger product range .
AFD is catching up in the amount of product but for me it is just a little to late this time around as my engine is already built .
I think CHI and AFD are both directed in different directions .
Good luck to both the comp is only going to improve the products avail
Don't bag our Don ('cos he's a true legend, not a big mouth wanna-be)!
Don's had more influence on Top Fuel then any other person. In fact I wonder if we would be witnessing 4.4 sec 1/4s now if it wasn't for his string of unique ideas over his incredible career.
Cochunter - I'd like you to try and think of just one little unique idea, before spewing forth more verbal pollution.
You are not worthy to utter his sacred name, let alone with a negative breathe. All you do is confirm to me that your little brain has pickled from being soaked in turps.
"FULLY SICK" ??????
Yes you sure are mate.
GROW UP !!!!!
Are you sure you have a Ford in your stable, or are you just another lost Holden supporter who wishes he had the balls to wave the Ford banner, but is afraid to handle real HP.
I have no facts or figures to back up my comments but just a observation.
I have noticed that most fords that are all out drag with a little street are using afd and all the cars that are mainly street with the weekend drag use are chi .
This maybe a coincedence but it is something that I have noticed .
Fu**in Geezuz H Christ - if Croc Hunter is a serious Ford (Cleveland) owner, I'm selling the GT and moving over to the General (cough, sick, spew).
Surely someone that far up himself must drive a Valiant or Skoda or anything but a beloved "Ford". :welder:
I am still to see a user on this forum with AFD's on a street car show really impressive results, can anyone put their handup or is "fully sick" the extent of afd knowladge here ?
If i was AFD i would distance myself from the some of the fans/stalkers they seem to have.

To me, arguing on a internet forum about what heads is better is like gm vs ford debate... a waste of time.
Like i said, I have a set of AFD 4Vs for my 357, but i'll let the results speak for themselves. I had a choice of CHI or AFD, and i chose AFD... hopefully the right choice was made.
Yeah sprint, im a 4v iron user so i really have no favourites, but i would like to see some results, i personally know a CHI user and have seen the results firsthand.

The only impressive CHI headed car that sticks out for me is XD408. Windsor bottem end and all, that is one real muscle car. Along with it, he backs up his 1/4 mile times nicely. Still had more in it too, as it was only his 2nd time out and 10.8? Very impressive.
