HEy guys,
Just wondering if any one could tell us what to do about extractors or headers on a xf with a 351 in it to clear the power steering box. would preferably like to use headers cause the car is running straight lpg for engineering reasons.

I had a 302 in a ZL Fairlane, and the extractors i had were just the run of the mill ones purchased from Jack Beedhams. The way they're shaped cleared the power steering box fine, but ran a little to close to the starter motor for my likeing.

That was only a little problem I had getting that motor into the car. The biggest one was relocating the heater box as the passenger side head didn't clear the pipes comming out the firewall.

I had paceys in my XF with the 351. I think they were tri Y's.

Cheers guys, i spoke to my mate that is a radiator specialist and we a ditching the air con and using the ac core in the heater box as the heater we are just modifying the pipes to allow a better flow, otherwise they are in the perfect spot.

i have a xe with a 351 in it and my extractors are fairly close to the starter motor all i did was put some heat shield between the starter and the extractors.
