Does anyone know where the best place to get 24lb injectors to suit my EDXR8. I can get some of the AUXR8 24lb injectors cheap, but I have been told they have a different connector, can anyone back this up. Thanks.
The AU's use the P-type connector. There was a mob(in the U.S) making adaptors to go the other way for one of the 5.4/6.8 blower kits which were going back to the older style injectors at 42lb/hr. Apparently there isn't the choice of larger sizes available in P-type yet.
Just get them from Ford Aust. or if you don't want to pay the price get them direct from the states. my 30's only cost about $600.00 from SVO in the states with a 70mm air meter to suit.
Other wise you could get an equivilent from another brand car or something.

Not unless you use an eec tuner, you can use any combo you want.
And why stuff around with your fuel pressure unless your regulator or fuel pump is stuffed or you are going to supercharge and need a FMU.

Kelli, just thought I'd let you know. I emailed the guys at http://www.buyfordmotorsport.com/ as recommended by XR9UTE. They do 24lb's at $220 and 30lb's at $230 and they don't charge any handling or packaging fee like summit do, they only charge for postage.

Yep Diversifieds are the best Ford Racing parts distributor. Ive been dealing with them since the early nineties and I send everyone their way. They are a Husband and Wife team and don't try pulling any funny shit on you like summit does!
BTW EDXR, what are the mods you have done to your engine?
So, with an AU2 XR8 I need to be careful what type of injectors I get? (as in connector type?)
Suitcase still has room to spare - would be a waste going home empty handed wouldn't it? (he he)
