Hi Guys,

I have a Capri Perana wit a carby 302 windsor in it, I have ordered a new 95 mustang 302 tall motor to bolt into it(arriving this week) and this new motor has gt40-p heads, my question is , Are the Extractors likely to bolt up to the new gt40 heads, I know the plugs may not fit in, but i just want to see if a new set of 302 block huggers will fit or if i have to go completly custom extractors

Oh yeah, nearly forgot, the heads will be reverted back to carby not efi

They will bolt up, but they might not clear the spark plugs or allow you to change spark plugs without removing the extractors first. Have a look at the extractors, basically the spark plugs come out right beside and just underneath the primaries, and come out at a very slight 10-20 degree angle, whereas the old heads had the spark plugs further away from the primaries and at a greater 30-40 degree angle.
