Lightbulb 302 Eel!

Hey guys, just looking for a bit of a brainstorm here - I'm looking at getting my hands on a 302 Windsor to put in the 3.9 MPEFI EEL mobile!
All I need to know is roughly how much work would be involved and what would be needed apart from the Engine, loom, and computer...... obviously there'd be some work involved in the engine bay, but I just don't know how much.

The car itself is a '90 EA Series II S MPEFI, with a 5speed and LSD. Would my trusty 5 speed cope with the 8? I know the ratios would at least be different, and a newer, heavier clutch too.

any comments would be much appreciated!

Look back through the old street machine mags for the sony scorcher , you will need a new v8 subframe.

You would also need to get an engineers cert as the EA never came out with a V8.

The gear box will work with it... you will just need the bell housing to suit.

probably easier to put a V8 into a EB... no engineers cert required there.
