302 intake gaskets

I think there are different part numbers for different years of 302s but one would think the basic lower gaskets would work for all years,I know the EFI gasket set comes with more gaskets (Plenum and throttle body) then the set for a carbed motor so I need to know if I can use the lower gaskets from a EFI motor I have in stock on a 70 motor.

Re: 302 intake gaskets

I would think that they would work, Ford was not very consistent with their gaskets from year to year though. What I do when I am unsure is buy some extra gaskets at Autozone or Kragen before I tear into the car, then return the ones I didnt need. Saves last minute trips and midnight panics.
