Hi guys

My 1989 302 efi F150, Needs a rebuild
Leaking rear main, piston slap, lazy lifters etc

I'm after a couple of recommendations for either places to buy all the parts
(acl race series bearings & std replacements for everything else)

or a recommended rebuilder

the truck has made 320000km on the original motor, so I don;t need forgies & titanium valves & crap. I after a Good solid standard rebuild

someone SE melb/aus would be great

Being that TORQUE is realy an issue have thought of a stroker kit ? In your case where revs are not an issue but pulling some "weight", this could be done with std heads in this case..???Yes it would cost slighty more with machining, ballancing but all parts are new.You won't nead expensive rods etc either.. Talk to the guys at www.vpw.com.au They have complete rotating assemblies...

A few mechanics have recommended that i remove the 302w & put a 351c
one is getting me a price atm on that conversion

It won't be efi but atleast it's a Ford. You'll need complete engine, fuel pump, dissy, hardened valve seats etc etc...Compliance ADR's is this an issue??
