An aftermarket new one may not be out of the question ??

The after maket new ones are $250 at least.

I was tring to get the guts of a XD V8 in the it (it slips straight in to the windsor housing) but you can not buy the reluctor package anymore they use to be $87 new from Bosch. I looked at a second hand one and the bloke says it was running when I took it out, so I test the reluctor coil and open circuit.

I called a import place and he wants to sell me a $300 after market unit.

Any other ideas? Any one found a hall effect plate and rotor.
