Is the an easy way of converting my 351 to EFI without haveing to get all the EFI bits off a truck from the states, and I'd like to use bits readily available over here in Oz if possible.

It depends on what you are wanting the EFI for, more power, better economy etc.

Have you thought of a Holly pro jection EFI set up?
Its heaps easy as you dontneed new maifolds ect as it uses a holly 4 barrell base and bolts up to a normal 4 barrell manifold and comes with a smalll wiring loom and instructions. Heaps easy! they havent caught on here but itis getting bigger in the states as for ease of fittment and tuneability.
You just have to work out air flow and how many hp you engen is going to produce and work out wich one is best suited for youre application.

I know someone in Qld with a 351 Windsor EFI manifold (both the upper and lower) and throttle body for sale. He doesn't have much of an idea as to how much they're worth and would look at offers I guess. I would think he take something in the vicinity of $700 to $800 but maybe less... let me know if you are interested and I'll let him know.

it's just a computer controlled carb though u will still get distribution problems in the manifold

Adapt a Edelbrock or other brands carb manifold drill out injector holes[some of them have forgings just for this] customs injector rails.A 90 * 4" pipe and flange made to fit over existing 4 barrel bolt pattern other side flange for throttle body off XR series..Then fit efi XR8 eec,maf, wireing etc...Does loose alittle torque down low due to short runners, but they make power...
