just wondering whether a 351 would fit into an EF and how hard it would be to set it all up... i have a complete donor car in running cond

I believe it has been done. You will have to use a windsor though as a clevo will more than likely give you clearance problems. Ford built a single EA GT with an injected 351w, it was a tight fit but do-able.

Too many complications fitting one.

When you say doner, is it EFI? Is it a Clevland or WInsor?

It's easier to spend the money on a worked 5.0L!!

we messured it up before 351 windsor fine but we went for the 347 stroker option for legal easyer over the pits.

at most might need a small bonnet scoop depending on the intake if its efi ex f100 those intakes sit higher that eb-au engines.

i have heard that the heads on a 351c are much higher than the windsor, so you get clearance probs between the suspension, but i cant remember where i heard it so i have no idea how correct it is.

need bit of butchering for a cleveland.
windsor would fit easyer i would stay with a 302 theres people out there getting desent hp out of a small block and legal hp to.

There is an EB getting around with a 351 clevo, running straight gas and a full touring car kit.

I'd still go for the 302 windsor, as you can get decent horsepower out of them.

What was the donor car?

the donor car is a zj fairlane i think... a mate at workowns it still drivable but too much work (rust) needs repairing for roadworthy so he said he'd sell me the car complete for $1000. i think the engine is a windsor

If it's a ZJ it's a cleavland.

IMO, I wouldn't bother. Easier to modify a 5.0.
