just after some info please guys/gals

i have a 351 windsor in parts from a 83-85 bronco non efi
the block has already been bored .040 .
will this motor run hot when rebiult as mild streeter, afew people have told me .040 could make the windsor run hot.
i plan to fit this motor to a te cortina with a davies craig electric water pump,
16" thermo fan and custom 3 row, 60mm thick aluminium radiator from PWR.
any thoughts/help would be appreciated.

checkout how much for a sonic test , if its ok for wall thickness then it wont heat .

I have a 351W in a TC Cortina. Mine's out of a '97 F250 and is currently running an Edlebrock Performer RPM package (Performer RPM heads and manifold, Mallory ignition and coil, Edlebrock spec Crane cam and Mighty Demon 750 carb). My radiator is a rebuilt 3 core modified to fit the Corty and I just run a 15" flex fan. The motor has had a 30 thou bore, it never gets hot while driving and once its warm has to sit for about 10-15 minutes before it gets hot. Simply drive around the block and it cools down again. One thing to watch, wrap your extractors where they go around your steering column or you will seaze the uni joint (I've done 2).
If you find a way to stop the chassis twisting, or straighten it again, let me know. I've got a half cage which seems to have stopped it a bit, might need a full cage.
