351 Windsor into EL

Hi there guys, just wondering if any of you have seen, or installed a 351 windsor into an EL. Would like to know any details that you know.

Two SC 61's = trouble

302 is 20 3/4"high
351 is 23 3/4" high

302 is 18 3/4"wide
351 is 21 inch's wide

A bonnet cowling would be required and some block hugger extractors..
The 351 has bigger rear seal at sump so 351 sump must be used...
Accessaries should all bolt up using alloy bracket from 302 efi..
Bolt patterns are the same on bellhousing etc...

I was thinking 351 windsor in xg ute?? engineer wise wat do u think has to be done??

Mate, here in QLD, where they have the most ridiculous rego rules in the country, the engineer has no worries at all. Just get it in there, just as an idea, I converted my F Truck, from a 4.1 to a 7.5, and needed nothing to get it passed, just an engine number change, so have a word to Rod Hadfield, and he will line you up with an engineer. My engineer up here put me onto Rod, seeing some of my other mods wont pass here in QLD, but more than likely will in Melb, so freighting the car down there, getting it rego'd and the bringing it back, to Banana world to transfer it, so you should have an easy run.
