Hey guys I'm new to fords all together, or in this case ford owned companies... I've been helping a friend mess around with his car trying to get it running better, but i dont think he knows what he actually has under the hood so I wanted to ask here to make sure!
He's got a 77' Lincoln Mark V and he claims its a 351m/400, but reading on those it seems like they were first offered in 77' but only for trucks? And maybe his engine is actually the 400 or 460? wikipedia says that the 460 engine ran in those cars for 77'-78 and the 400 ran in those cars from 78-79... So could I safely assume his car came with the 460 option?
Thanks for any help or advice you guys could give me
Yea wikipedia said the 460 was in the 77-78's and the 400 was in the 78-79... but i cant convince him otherwise, he says its a 351m/400, even though those were only offered in trucks in 77' from what i've read...
