i got this crazy idea to put a 5.8 l 4v h.o motor out of an old van (84 i think) into a bmw 318 i it will be a tight squeeze but sould fit. Any one no what the stock horse power # are. Runs good but just doesn't have the rumble at idle a cam can give. What is the hotest cam i can run with leaving everything else stock? This is a low low budget beer drinking adventure for now if all goes well maybe pull it and do a full rebuild next year.
the car only weighs 1800 lbs so should not take much to make it fun.

318i...put a 318 Mopar in it!
