I've got a 351 that came out of an older 70's or 80's ford truck. I would like to build to motor and put it in my 94' f-250 which now has a 351. What I want to know is what parts will fit off the newer motor and what wont.

Are the blocks exactly the same

blocks are the same , u may have a 3 bolt pulleys on the old motor and 4 on the one thats in your truck ,the motor thats in your truck would be the better motor to build it should have the roller camshaft in it ,if u use the old block and the pulleys are differnt , just use your balancer of the 94 with the flywheel and have them balanced
