408 windsor or 408 clevo

Guys what do you think alloy headed windsor or alloy headed clevo? Its going in my XY wagon which has just been mini tubbed and had the rails moved in.
Whats the easier engine and cheaper to get 550 at the flex. My goal is a flat 11, car weighs 3600-3700 pounds and i have a 29" high tyre and will run 4.3 gears in my sheetmetal 9". Cross line at 6500-7000 is another goal.

Clevos are easy to make power cheap with parts availl now.
With a CHI/AFD headed 408c cammed correct, you will make 550-600hp quite easy.
You will have issues with your gearing. If you cross the line at 7000 rpm, you will be doing 140 mph.
Best option is 28 inch slicks and 4.56 gears to get what you want.

if you are building motor from scratch. go for the windsor. taller deck height = better rod/stroke ratio. 351w std block is also a bit gutsier than a std clevo block. cheers
