I bought grandma's old car...302 now 96k miles, I put 500 miles on it after she sat for 4-5 years.

I checked the oil level this mornin (like you do in old cars) and found A/F and oil mix on my dipstick. I got really happy at this point (no, not at all) finding out I get to tear into this car.

Now my question for all you ford fanatics out there, What's the interchange on the TBI equipped ford? Can I go an get a set of mustang GT heads on bolt on? I looked on car-part.com and found an interchange from 79-85, mostly on trucks, broncos, and lincoln mark VII's.

What is the biggest thing on these heads for the lack of power? I was told by a hot rod shop (ford mustang) that the biggest thing slowing it down was the valve size in the heads....hence the mustang head question.

SO sorry for long rant....could a ford guru help me out here and inform me how to make most for my money (which isn't much) I'd like to improve power but i'll understand if I can't

are you sure it's water/anti-freeze & not just condensation? At times condensation on the dipstick can look tan or frothy.
