Yes they should swap out. I believe 86 and up were all the roller blocks, up to 95. The difference would be the nickel content in the block itself, ie what it was forged with.
Your engine may be compatible for a swap but if you're going to be driving on the street you should do some research on your local smog laws, many states have restrictions when it comes to moving engines around.
