AFR 185 heads

I am in the market for some AFR 185 heads. Has anyone searched around and found prices? I am looking for the 185 street heads, 61cc combustion chamber w/ 3/8" studs (pt # 1420)...

Squeezed is nice, stroked is good, blown is unbeliveable - but all 3 is heaven

Re: AFR 185 heads

Yes - I have already spoken to XR8Chic. Was more interested in purchasing them from the states where you don't seem to get bent over as much as here.

Re: AFR 185 heads

More to the point with minor cleaning TFS flow more than the AFR's.

Re: AFR 185 heads

TFS R series are to big a port for my combo I think - the 185cc intake will probably be better. I would take the R's over the AFR 205's....

Im the Summit man but no - they don't sell AFR gear.
http://www.brothersperformance.com have them
http://www.totalengineairflow.com/pr...rdhead/afrsbf/ - some here a little cheaper (big ported ones too)
at US $1300 and .70 for the Australian dollar
=$1857
freight US$ 200 (from what I have previously brought in)
=$287
customs & import A$400 roughly
roughly $2550 landed in Australia

Re: AFR 185 heads

AFR's are better than trick flow - hands down

Dont bother importing them. Too big and heavy. They need to come via sea in a container to be cost effective.

Get them from HPW Parramatta - ask for George
