im undecided on wether to score the 185s or 205s for my 351w,xe274,ill be stroking this engine in 12months ,would the 205s work well on the 351[ie low down torque] or would the 185s be the go and would they be good enough for a 416,this is a street engine and sees no track time.any replies will be appreciated---steve

Depends on cam choice?? Induction.. 205's seeing latter mods.You can grow into it...
You'd still be happy with 185's though..imo

205's for a 416 if your for real about it,but it really depends on cam and comp ratio, diff ratio, trans etc
all the above are needed to make a package work to its full potential

If it's street only, 185's are perfect for a 351 or even a 393/406 if you go ahead and stroke it. You will love the usable torque on the street!

205's would be minimum for the 416. I was going to use 205's on my 391 with EFI. Simulations showed that the torque loss down low is non existant on the 391. 205's are perfect for a street 416 and are likely too small for a more serious combination. 225's may be more like it.
