American import engine

Has anyone on the forum shoveled an american import 5.0 into their car as a replacement for the original 5.0 How did the NSW RTA react? any problems?

i dont think that it should be a problem, as long as it has all the emmisions that your model has, as far as the emissions go, californian emissions are a lot stricter than any of the aust ones.

Is yours injected ? installed complete 92 5.0 in my car but some where along the line the calafornian air pump was misplaced and went throu full compliance inspection no worries
EFI and stock should have no problems
be care full as some US and Aussie parts dont mix (injectors and computer)
