Hi guys/gals,
just wondering if someone can point me in the right direction as i'm sure this is a topic that has probably been discussed before.
I've got an Au XR8. Is there any markings or infomation on the head that'll tell me if i have the GT40P heads.

Afaik ALL AU's had GT-40p's. Some were tweaked by Tickford (I think the 220kw XR8's got the tweaked ones - larger valves etc).

They were actually tweaked by Yellow Terra..... then fitted with a different cam and bigger valves (220's that is.)

If you look beside the fwd most head bolt, adjacent to the exhaust manifold you will see GTP cast there.
