How much difference would this Maf make on STD 5.0L

quite a noticeable differance, especially with a 65mm t/b and 1.7 roller rockers

You will notice a huge difference going form a 55mm MAF to a 70mm MAF. But you'd want the bigger t/b aswell to see the big difference as eb2flyz said.

Yeah really your only buying it for the housing as you would use your electronics on the bigger MAF. Big differance if you have the right setup

Is that the total MAF on EBAY minus electrics??? It doesn't look like it is complete.

It's the maf body, minus the element. I have a 58mm MAF and AU element sitting in my room. I'm trying to get rid of it , but no-one wants it. Ford charge a ridiculour price for their MAF elements, and no-one wants a second or spare. weird.

So to use this MAF on my ED 5.0, do I only have to change my element off my ED onto this AU casing?

I'm pretty sure that will work, because you're using the same maf as i used to have, and all i did was take out the element from the 58mm one, and put it onto the 70mm AU one. Just be bloody careful with the elements when you are exchanging them, as they are very sensitive. Don't touch them, or knock them, or anything. If you do, you will damage the element and it will send the wrong air meter reading.
