I am looking at a new Herrod exhaust (Complete) for my XR8 (220). I will also be fitting a new chip. Either a uni-chip, or a chip from Herrods that they map & supply. I am looking for some feedback from anyone who has fitted these & what they think.
EXELENT,go for it mate,HUGE improvement over the standard,I had the Full exhaust and Unichip which is what Herrod supply and fit,great sound and better mid range and top end power and exelent fuel economy, better than standard,I have no regreat's, the sound is the best part, I find myself thinking off excuse's just to take it for a drive.cheer's.

Ive got a AUII XR8 220 and have the Herrods exhaust from Cats back and a Unichip, and I am getting 192rwKW and it sounds excellent, and boy does it go.
I had a BA XR6 Turbo decide it wasnt worth the shame to be beaten by an older brother.......We took off and I rocketed ahead, his turbo kicked in soon after but he couldnt quite catch me and gave up.

I think it was just under $3000 for the Unichip installed and tuned on the Dyno and exhaust, full S/S including header's and the Dyno tune again,Gained roughly 20 odd rwkw,cheer's.

Well the Unichip supplied and fitted was $900 including the Dyno run,but that was over a year ago now,and price's may have changed since then so you really need to contact Herrod's and talk to them,cheer's.
