ok the problem is this... When accellerating from idle uptill 1600 or so rpm it is sluggish and blowing black smoke (which suggests overfuelling?) anywhere after that in the rev range is mostly fine with a little hesitance... I have already changed the O2 sensors and it has not rectified the problem and i am stuck as to what else it might be, any ideas or suggestions muchly appreciated...

if you can, borrow a maf, and switch it over with yours, it could be the prob

Hey guys,

Solved the problem, it did relate to the maf but it was just a bit of rubbish blocking the flow up a bit, tis all good now, thanx for all the help though guys, really appreciate it...

Ahh... yes, I think Dodgie had that problem a while back. It was suprising how a tiny bit of tape affected things. Anyway, glad to hears she's all OK now. Nice to know my Audrey has an Oxford FF cousin in Brissy - what part of town?

Yeah it was a bit of electrical tape mate, lol... Im on the north side of brissy, Arana Hills... I havent actually seen many Oxford AU's kicking around mostly blue or that champaigne colour...
