windsor/cleveland bell housing

Need some wisdom,
are the bell housings on windsor and clevelands interchanable. are they the same.

I'd say they are the same, I have quite a few of them and I can't find any difference, apart from early one's are 5 bolt so don't fit and of course different bolt spacing for the gearbox's.

No they are different.. Windsors are much narrower than a cleveland.

A Windsor bellhousing WILL bolt to a Cleveland. They have the same bolt pattern. The 351M/400 have a big block pattern and require different bellhousings.

Yep Sorry,, my Mistake.. thought they were different..

thought for sure aussie bellhousings were different somehow, but the US ones arent so im probably wrong
