Best muffler for a 5 litre windsor

Guys i have a mate about to get an exhaust system on this EF XR8
His going the dual 2 1/4 with twin hi-flow cats along with pacemaker extractors. Now what do you suggest are the best mufflers to use as per note, drone etc.
What will last longer and give him the best note & less drone. Ive heard magnaflow are pretty good along with lukey but what can you guys recommend

Always had lukey and have been happy with them. Gives a nice deep note, and as long as the system is designed well, no drone.

A friend of mine had Lukey's on his EL ghia I thought they were pretty good until he swapped em for a set of Magnaflows.... They rock!!!

I have Genie's stainless steel mufflers and it sounds awesome! They are also straight through mufflers which are the best type of mufflers being less restrictive. As for the drone, that is fixed by adding resonators... However, I have heard that resonators can actually reduce performance somehow.

I have heard magnaflows are excellent. but dont go on what I've heard. I reckon anything with a twin system sounds tuff as.

I've heard Genie and Magnaflow mufflers are pretty much the same. I checked it out one day and they did look pretty similar but there may be 'slight' differences.

What sort of bad designes create a drone? As in how would you know what type of setup will drone?
I'm looking around for exhausts for my AUII XR8 Ute. I like the growl sounds function at the Lukey website.
