iam looking at running in a restricted class of racing with a ether a 302/289 .
now rules are 60thou up pistons balanced bottom end stock replacement engine parts ie acl race series pistons
standerd rocker's pushrods lifters con rods.
standerd sized valves no port work standerd manifolds and carby.
now my question is what are the best standerd heads rocker gear, crank, lightest block (i thinks its the au one?) best standerd carby,best inlet manifold, best exhaust manifold, whats the longest rod standerd rod you can fit, lightest pistons aviable acl race series?
it was a stroke increase to the 289-302?
also whats safe revs for these in standerd condition i was thinking about 5000/5500 as id rather it built for torque rather then hp.
