Posting this on behalf of a mate, he wants to build a 302 Boss using a 302W out of a XTGT and 2V CC Clevo heads and top it off with some downdraft Webers.
Is there a manifold that will bolt straight up for this combo?
What sort of pushrods (length?) to use?
What (roller) rockers are recommended?
Will CC heads give too much compression for regular pump gas?
How different are the water jackets between the Clevo heads and the Windsor block - is there a template available showing the differences?Has anyone done this conversion (with or without Webers), is there any other info he might need?
Is a later block, say a 5.0 out of EB-AU different to early blocks?

to fit clevo heads on a windsor, u have to block up a hole on the gasket face of the head and open 1 up on the manifold side of the head.
dunno bout the manifolds for webbers, but redline make a boss single plain 4bbl one.

U Will Defentlly Have To Get The Water Jakets Sealed Up,you Will Have To Get Adjustable Roller Rockers So The Pushrod Lenth Doesnt Really Matter And Lastly Redline Do Make Manifolds For Webers

unless your looking at a cam with over .500 lift, rollers arn't really needed. Redline make just about any sort of manifold you would even want.
Later model blocks run a hydralic roller cam, you might need custom length pushrods if you go that way.
Go to your local autoshop and ask them about the pushrods. They should be able to get them no worries.

I thought Quad Weber setup from Redline was for 302/351C or 302W and not 302 Boss ???
I thought only manifolds available in Aust were KC Pro-Boss, Parker Racing 2V Clevor and Weiand Single or Dual Tunnel Rams.
7.601" push rods from Speed Pro or Crow Cams. 7.645" from Comp Cams.
As usual check your own engine push rod length before buying anything off the shelf ???

Redline website only lists Clevo/Webber setup, my mate already has this manifold, anyway of making some sort of adaptor plate to make it fit Boss?

Adapter would be tricky to make, but not impossible. You would be better of keeping an eye on the trading post/parts peddler. I think TFC make a Single plane victor style boss manifold too.

seriously,for the money he will spend on a "boss" engine
he would do better with a shit hot set of heads"afr" or "tfs" on a 331 or 347 or even 408

have a look at www.inglese.com weber specialists
i dont think weber manifold for "boss" style engines are made in aus

they are expensive manifolds,i have quad webers on my 347 the manifold cost about $950

Sad to say Redline no longer makes any manifolds for boss motors
