Question boss manifold

A mate is building a boss 302 and is having trouble finding an intake manifold (redline has just stopped making them!). Does anyone know of anyone who makes them? Any help would be appreciated!

Re: boss manifold

Check the Parts for sale section. I think someone here is selling one.

Re: boss manifold

This link shows how to put the cleveland heads on the windsor block- like boss 302, and lists source for adapter manifolds- I'm guessing same boltup as boss302 but dunno, and I'm pretty sure the ports are much smaller- would need a lot of porting I think. Anyway, might be an option:

Thumbs up Re: boss manifold

Mate, Manifolds ...

Search in Google for 'Street Boss' (Dual plane high rise manifold, similar to the Edelbrock Performer RPM) or the 'Track Boss' (Edelbrock Torker'ish). These are USA manifolds that sell around US$400 +.

I purchased a Track Boss a number of years ago, I also believe Parker Racing, or is it Active Racing have manifolds also, both these are Aussie companies.

Good luck, you will like the results, particularly with the Aussie made alloy clevo heads that are now avaliable ....

Re: boss manifold

Parker and active both make em for 302's. Kilkenney Casting in S.A. also make one, it's pretty wild but, more of a tunnel ram really. Edelbrock make em as well. If it's a 302 your'e right mate, try finding one for a 351.

Re: boss manifold

Make sure which manifold you need "small port" or "big port" depending on your heads, they are significantly different . Genuine Ford 1969-70 302 Boss engines use "big port" style , while many aftermarket designs are designed to suit "small port" heads.
