G'day,

Was wondering if all the 351w's have the same bolt pattern, new and old, efi and carby.

eg, will a 20 year old c4 fit on to a 2 year old 351w.????

No worries all standard 6 bolt style small block Clevo/winds style bell, can use either large (late..er clevo) or small (winds) style bell and the resulting (auto) convertor C-10 Clevo or C9/8 style (302 winds) smaller (same diam as C9/6 style) convertor. all bolt together with small (but frustrating) diff's in seperator plate flex plate, flywheel (man) early to late balance weights (all ext balance), starter shims etc

Yep the early 289 had 5 bolt..Same same...Check ballance on flywheel / flexplate....

Will a 351W C4 bolt up to a 4.0L Six engine.

I think it should if the 351W is the same as the 302W Bolt pattern, one would assume that the I6 would be the same as the 302??????

No go bell is different from 6 to 8 and late 6 is different to early 6 which is also different to 8

So if I got a Tough c4 built to eventually hook up to a late 351W all I would have to interchange would be the bellhousings????

Shouldnt be too much of an expense I dont think.

It will fit Any C4 from 302 will bolt up to 351w...
