Cam.....

I have a 1994 mustang GT, it runs ok at low speed but when i step on the gas it will sound loud but it wont go that fast..... the engine was rebuild and has a mild cam, I was wondering if the cam would afect its performance becuase the computer is stock....... the engine was from a 1992 mustang they changed the intake to the 94....

Re: Cam.....

A cam only and stock heads and intake is not a good combo.
a 94 cam was never a weakness. Heads intake and exhaust were the weakness.
You need to match a cam to the heads. you can loose power with E7 heads and intake and a cam change only
