Camshaft Selection

I know the answer to this question is 'how long is a piece of string', but, I have a '69 351W to go into a '68 Mustang conv.

Here are the details;
351W - 4.060" bore, 3.50" stroke, flat top pistons.
Heads - std GT40 cast iron. I've read that 0.530" is max allowable valve lift.
Intake - the normal dual plane, 600cfm.
Exhaust - headers and dual 2.25".
Trans - C4.
Diff - 3:1.

This car is a cruiser, but it's always nice to have plenty of grunt.
Any assistance will be much appreciated.

Look for something with 275-280 advitised duration and about .480 lift. Try contacting Ivan Tighe Cams. They area making some pretty nice windsor cams. Failing that you really can't go past a Crow cam.
