Hi all i have an ed xr8 I would like to get rid if the restrictve MAF & put in an Apex super afc controller . Dose any one no if this is possable i was told it is. Thanks for any help.

More info ??? Is the Apex stand alone ecu?? Then it should be o/k and doesn't need maf, though I'd still keep it there for inspections etc..[milled out ??]
Otherwise going back to map is going backwards in some ways...

ok what is the question and why are you posting this all over the place?

I have merged the duplicates into this. There is no reason for all the postings of the same question over and over and over again in the same area or in other areas that they are not related too. This had/has nothing to do with transmissions so that thread was merged in here too. I deleted your copy paste job of the question in the introduce yourself forum as well.

I have no experience with the Apex super afc2, so can't really comment on them, but most people, here and in the USA generally just upgrade to larger MAF's, like C&L, Pro-M/GMS etc. I don't know the cost of the Apex controller, but the larger MAF's cost between $400-600 and should provide enough flow for 400+kw.
